Our facial analysis model achieves strong accuracy across standard emotion benchmarks, and our voice model analyses four key vocal states (calm, tense, engaged, uncertain). The mismatch detection — comparing face vs voice — is where the real insight lives, and it's something no other interview tool offers.

Mismatch detection compares your facial expressions against your vocal tone across your recorded answer. When they diverge — for example, your face looks confident but your voice sounds tense — your results flag the exact moment it happened. These are the subconscious signals that interviewers pick up on.

We currently support behavioural, technical, and case study formats with a growing question bank. You can also paste any job listing to get role-specific questions, describe the role in your own words, or add your own custom questions.

Most users do 15–30 minute sessions with 6–10 questions. But you can go as short as 5 minutes for a quick confidence check or extend to 45 minutes for thorough preparation.

The facial analysis works regardless of language. The voice analysis currently focuses on English vocal patterns, but we're working on expanding language support. The question bank is in English.

Nope. Veracue runs entirely in your browser. Just visit the site, allow camera and microphone access, and you're ready to go. Works on Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.

Any standard laptop webcam and built-in microphone work fine. The AI is designed for typical video call conditions — you don't need professional equipment.

Currently Veracue works best on desktop and laptop browsers. Mobile support is on our roadmap — we want to make sure the experience is solid before launching it on smaller screens.

Your results are typically ready within 15-30 seconds after you finish recording. Processing time depends on the length of your answer.

Yes. Anyone who signs up during beta keeps free tier access forever, even after we launch paid plans. The free tier may have session limits but it will always exist.

No — and that's a critical distinction. Veracue is a self-improvement tool where you analyse yourself. It's not used by employers to screen candidates. You're in complete control, and the insights are for your eyes only. HireVue is employer-facing; Veracue is candidate-facing.

No — and the score reflects it. The substance of your answer — whether you actually addressed the question, with specifics, in a structure an interviewer can follow (including STAR on behavioural questions) — carries the largest share of your overall score. Delivery signals like pace, fillers, eye contact and expression are analysed alongside it, in the same session. Polished delivery can't carry an empty answer here.

Content and delivery in one honest analysis. Most tools do one or the other: transcript graders mark your answer like an essay, and body-language tools ignore what you said. Veracue scores substance first and delivery alongside it, names the patterns it sees (for example, gaze that reads as reading from notes), and tells you the one thing to fix next. And it's a practice tool, full stop — never a live-interview copilot. We don't do stealth assistance in real interviews.

Most speech coaching tools analyse what you say — filler words, pacing, clarity. Veracue analyses how you come across emotionally. We read your facial expressions and vocal tone, and critically, we detect mismatches between the two. No other tool does this.
