Here's everything we store, and why.

How your recording is processed
What happens when you press record.
When you record a practice session, your video is sent to our secure analysis server. The server runs AI models to analyse your facial expressions, vocal tone, and speech patterns. This produces your scores, feedback, and coaching insights.
The analysis results (scores, metrics, transcript) are stored in your account so you can review past sessions and track your improvement over time.

How your recording is handled
Your video is deleted
However you use Veracue — Free or paid — your video and audio are deleted from our servers within seconds of your analysis completing. We keep only your scores, metrics, and transcript so you can review past sessions. A failed analysis is held for up to 24 hours for debugging, then automatically deleted.
Helping improve the AI is opt-in
You can choose to let us use your de-identified expression data to help improve our models. It's entirely optional, never tied to your plan, and you can turn it off anytime. Your name and email are never attached to training data.
What we will never do
- Sell your data to third parties
- Share your recordings with anyone outside of Veracue
- Use your data for advertising or marketing purposes
- Attach your name or email to any model training data
- Access your recordings for any purpose other than generating your analysis
- Share your practice results with employers, universities, or anyone else
Where your data lives
Your account data and analysis results are stored in a Supabase database (built on PostgreSQL) with row-level security — meaning only you can access your own data, enforced at the database level.
Video processing happens on our analysis server. Processed recordings are not retained beyond the time needed to generate your results — a failed analysis is held for up to 24 hours for debugging, then automatically deleted. This is the same on every plan.
Your rights
- You can view all data we hold about you in your session history
- You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us
- You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time
- You can turn model-improvement consent on or off at any time in your settings — it's never tied to your plan
